Scientists discover a planet where rock clouds vanish every night

Scientists at Johns Hopkins University have discovered exoplanet WASP-94A b, nearly 700 light-years away, where mineral clouds form every morning and disappear by night. Researchers believe powerful winds may drag the clouds deep into the atmosphere, or temperatures above 1,000 degrees may evaporate them. The phenomenon resembles Earth's morning fog, but under harsher and scorching conditions.
