The Afghan Taliban said it "successfully conducted" drone airstrikes on military targets in Pakistan, the Taliban Defence Ministry stated, amid ongoing clashes. Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said militants' drone attacks were intercepted by anti-drone systems, causing "no damage to life". Taliban also said Pakistani surveillance aircraft were "right now" flying over Afghanistan.
