Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a declaration on a "multipolar world order" and a new type of international relations during talks in Beijing. Putin's presidential aide Yury Ushakov had described the declaration as a 47-page document outlining bilateral relations and a shared vision on key global issues.
