Amazon on Wednesday announced layoffs affecting as many as 16,000 corporate jobs. "We are working hard to support everyone whose role is impacted," said Beth Galetti, Senior Vice President of People Experience and Technology at Amazon. Notably, it's the second round of Amazon layoffs since 14,000 jobs were cut in October 2025.
