Adult children not parents' property, are free to choose life partner: Bombay HC

The Bombay High Court has held that adult children are not their parents' property and are free to choose their life partner. The court said that the welfare of the child takes precedence over parents' rights in child custody matters. The court made the observation while dismissing a petition filed by a mother seeking custody of her adult daughter.
