Spanish researcher Jesus Ortea has named a newly discovered marine mollusc species Aldisa vozinhai after Cape Verde's FIFA World Cup 2026 hero Vozinha. The four-millimetre sea slug was found near Havana and Guadeloupe. The 40-year-old goalkeeper made seven saves in Cape Verde's goalless debut draw against Spain. His Instagram following has surged from 50,000 before the tournament to 28.5 million.
