The Delhi High Court, while hearing a plea alleging "continuous surveillance" of protesters at Jantar Mantar, asked Delhi Police whether it was following the Supreme Court guidelines on privacy. Opposing the plea, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said the measures were only to maintain law and order and did not amount to surveillance or snooping.
