When and how to watch the rare Venus-Jupiter sky conjunction?
short by Neeraja Nath / on Sunday, 7 June, 2026
Venus and Jupiter will appear within two degrees of each other in evening sky on June 8 and 9 in what's called a "conjunction". They'll be visible to the naked eyes above the western horizon for about 2-2.5 hours after sunset. This is expected to be the closest visible approach between the two planets in Northern Hemisphere until late 2028.
