Anthropic has filed documents to create a new political action committee, AnthroPAC, aimed at influencing AI policy and regulation in the US. The PAC plans to contribute to both parties in the upcoming US midterm elections. It will be funded by voluntary employee contributions capped at $5,000 (around ₹4.6 lakh), according to Bloomberg.
