A 53-year-old Canadian man said he applied to become Pope after ChatGPT convinced him he was destined for it. Tom Millar said the AI chatbot, with which he spoke for 16 hours a day, also made him believe he had solved major mysteries in physics. Millar said he was twice admitted to psychiatric wards, and his wife eventually left him.
