No need to panic: Karnataka after 2 HMPV cases reported in B'luru

Karnataka's Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao convened an emergency meeting after two cases of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) were reported in the state on Monday. "There's no need to panic...the situation is under control...This is not a new virus, and there's no need for alarm," the Rao said after the meeting. Notably, two babies have tested positive for HMPV in Bengaluru.
