Using sword to kill mosquito: HC to Tukaram Mundhe-led FDA amid crackdown on eateries

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday asked the Maharashtra FDA, led by Tukaram Mundhe, to use its power judiciously and not use a sword to kill a mosquito. "Even in the cases of hotels and restaurants, you shoot first and then ask questions," the HC said. FDA was asked to give petitioner Cadila Pharmaceuticals a hearing before taking drastic steps.
