Actor-designer Masaba Gupta recalled not having even ₹12,000 to pay to her cook during COVID-19 pandemic. Calling it the "worst time" of her life, Masaba said "fashion was at the bottom of the food chain" and "nobody was buying anything" from her brand House of Masaba. Masaba said her financial condition turned so bad that her business almost shut down.
