US tests new 465-km air-to-air missile that can fit inside F-35, F-22

The US Navy is testing the AIM-424 Malice, a new air-to-air missile developed by Raytheon that can strike targets more than 290 miles (465 km) away. Similar in size to the AIM-120 AMRAAM, it can fit inside F-35 and F-22 stealth fighters. The missile measures 13.5 feet in length, has a diameter of 13.5 inches and weighs around 680 kg.
