Berlin mayor says city being blackmailed by hackers who stole its data
The mayor of Berlin said the city is being blackmailed by hackers who stole its data during a cyberattack two weeks ago. The hackers said they are auctioning the data at a starting price of 30 Bitcoin, worth roughly $2.5 million (₹23.86 crore). The hackers stole 5.79 terabytes of data, including 46,500 contracts, emails, phone numbers, passwords and classified information.
