India-EU FTA is likely to hit US exports to India worth $5.8 billion (₹53,100 crore), Moneycontrol reported. The goods account for around 15% of US' exports and will face stiff competition as FTA will make similar European goods more lucrative for Indians. US' medical and surgical instruments, diagnostic reagents, communication equipment, polymers and petroleum-based products may face competition.
