India’s outgoing envoy to Iran bids farewell in Farsi, video goes viral

A video of India’s outgoing Ambassador to Iran, Rudra Gaurav Shresth, delivering his farewell message in Farsi has gone viral online. Shresth said Iran and its people would always hold a “special place in my heart.” A person was also seen throwing water behind his departing car, following a traditional Iranian custom symbolising a safe journey and happy return.
