NATO can't defend itself if members spend 2% on defence: Rutte

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said the alliance wouldn't be able to defend itself in four or five years if it keeps up with the 2% level of defence spending. Currently, NATO member countries are required to spend 2% of their GDP on defence. Earlier, US President Donald Trump floated the idea of boosting the spending to 5%.
