After the results for five states/UT were announced, BJP won in West Bengal with 206/293 seats. TVK emerged as the single largest party in Tamil Nadu with 108 but failed to secure majority of 118 seats. Congress-led UDF won with 95/140 seats in Kerala. BJP-led NDA (over 100 seats) won in Assam and AINRC-led NDA (18 seats) won in Puducherry.
