500 social media posts taken down for spreading rumours during Delhi protests

Delhi Police has reportedly taken down around 500 social media posts for allegedly "spreading rumours or trying to create unrest among people" during protests against CEC Gyanesh Kumar in Delhi. Thousands of protesters were detained and later released during two days of protests led by the CJP and left student organisations. Delhi Police had denied permission for the protests.
