Iranian state media has claimed that the six boats sunk by the US in the Strait of Hormuz were civilian crafts and not military vessels. Five civilians were killed in the military action against boats that were transporting passengers and commercial goods, state media reported. US had earlier said its helicopters sunk boats targeting civilian vessels in the strait.
