Meta confirmed that one of its AI models hacked into an undisclosed company's systems during cybersecurity testing. The company said a misconfiguration by external evaluation partner Irregular gave the model internet access, after which it exploited a security flaw in a third-party service. It is the third such disclosure in weeks, after Anthropic and OpenAI.
