US President Donald Trump-led government has officially removed the additional 25% tariffs imposed as a penalty on India for purchasing Russian oil. The US Customs and Border Protection notified that this will be applicable for all Indian goods effective from February 7, however, reciprocal tariffs will still be imposed. This brings the total tariff on India to 18%.
