The first batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026 pilgrims entered China through the Nathu La Pass on Saturday after Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur flagged off the journey. The first batch comprising of 44 pilgrims includes 4 Liaison Officers and a Medical Officer. Earlier, China's Embassy said it would facilitate travel of 1,000 Indian pilgrims for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026.
