A protest demanding the immediate repeal of the Waqf (Amendment) Act was held in Manipur's Bishnupur on Tuesday. Protesters marched through the streets with banners and slogans. Meanwhile, the Congress, AIMIM, and other parties have taken legal action against the Act, challenging it in the Supreme Court. The plea said the Act discriminates against the Muslim community.
