New Zealand approves FTA with India, reducing tariffs on 95% of NZ exports

New Zealand's parliament has passed legislation to implement a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with ​India, eliminating or reducing tariffs on about ‌95% of New Zealand exports to India. Under the trade deal, all Indian goods will receive duty-free access to New Zealand. The legislation passed by a vote of 93-29 is likely to be implemented by the end of 2026.
