PM Narendra Modi and his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni planted a Krishna Toot (Black Mulberry) tree as part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative in Rome. "The tree connects India and Italy through its culinary, medicinal and cultural significance," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. PM Modi concluded his five-nation tour with Italy being the last stop.
