Delhi Police increased anti-sabotage checks, verification drives and patrolling in markets and areas with high footfall ahead of Republic Day, officials said. The checks are being conducted along with the bomb disposal team and dog squads to prevent any untoward incidents in the national capital. The police added that mock drills to check anti-terror preparedness were also conducted.
