Washington Supreme Court ruled that Amazon must face lawsuits by families whose relatives died by suicide after consuming sodium nitrite bought on its website. Families alleged that despite knowing link between sodium nitrite and suicide for years, Amazon continued to allow unrestricted sales. It also sold products that could assist in suicides, families said, calling such products "suicide kits".
