A day after Mamata Banerjee's nephew and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee was attacked in West Bengal, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee was allegedly attacked in Hooghly. A video showed protesters showing him black flags and raising slogans against him before he fell to the ground after being hit. Several security personnel were present at the spot to control the situation.
