NZ minister jokes trade negotiator may have taken Indian citizenship after 21 visits
After India and New Zealand signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA), New Zealand’s Trade Minister Todd McClay said his chief trade negotiator came to India 21 times. “I sometimes wonder if he has taken Indian citizenship since he is here so often,” the minister joked. McClay added that he himself came to India eight times in two years.
