SI Krishna Priya becomes 1st woman SHO of Kerala's Munnar police station

Krishna Priya Unni, a 2024-batch Sub-Inspector (SI) from Idukki, has become the first woman to take charge as Station House Officer (SHO) of Munnar Police Station. The 28-year-old assumed the role after the station's Principal SI was transferred. Krishna Priya, who previously served in Kannur, said maintaining law and order in a major tourist destination like Munnar will be challenging.
