After a woman called off her wedding in UP, alleging that the groom's family demanded ₹20 lakh dowry and a car, the latter denied the allegations. He said he was fat-shamed by the bride's family. "She kept shouting on the wedding day," he claimed, adding that he was held hostage too. Police have taken cognisance of the matter.
