Nandyal in AP retained its scorching reign as India's hottest place for the third straight day, recording a temperature of 46 degree Celsius on Saturday. Meanwhile, 5 other cities in the country battled intense heatwave conditions. Parts of Rayalaseema districts and coastal Andhra Pradesh recorded maximum temperatures hovering between a staggering 42 degree Celsius and 46 degree Celsius.
