Passengers travelling on Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) ordinary buses will continue to pay 10% higher fares till July 31. The state-run transporter has extended the temporary fare hike by another fortnight, citing rising diesel prices and financial pressure. Introduced on April 15, the hike was initially set to end on June 15 before being extended to July 15.
