Japan discovers 'invisible gold' beneath the ocean

Researchers have discovered one of the world's richest underwater gold deposits inside a submerged volcanic crater off Japan's southeastern coast. The site contains active hydrothermal vents and black smoker chimneys, producing tiny gold grains and "invisible gold" embedded in seafloor minerals. It cannot be seen with the naked eye or a standard microscope.
