The CBI on Sunday said it arrested a CGST official who allegedly confined a Mumbai-based businessman for 18 hours over ₹60 lakh demanded as a bribe. The official was arrested after a chase in the middle of the night near Oshiwara police station. The CBI has booked six senior CGST officials and two others, including a CA, for demanding bribe.
