The world's top memory suppliers, Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron, have been sued in US for allegedly intentionally creating a memory chip shortage to keep prices elevated. This comes days after Apple's historic price hike, which the company attributed to high chip costs. The lawsuit accused the companies of fixing prices since 2022, which led to a 700% price rise.
