A KPMG report on how companies are using AI to cater to customers' needs included fake case studies, likely the result of AI hallucinations, research group GPTZero said. Of the 45 citations in the report, around half appear to be fake or misattributed. The false claims were related to organisations, including Swiss bank UBS and Swiss Federal Railways.
