Nepali metalsmiths immerse Lord Vishwakarma idols in Bagmati River

Nepali metalsmiths performed the bisarjan (immersion) of Lord Vishwakarma idols in the Bagmati River at Chovar Gorge on September 18. Devotees carried idols to the riverbed, performed rituals seeking forgiveness, and immersed them, marking the end of Vishwakarma Puja celebrated on September 17, the first day of Ashoj.
