A mock drill was conducted amid a blackout in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh on Friday to check emergency preparedness, officials said. The mock drill began around 6 pm, and an immediate red alert for an air raid was issued via sirens. Civil Defence volunteers used fire extinguishers and blankets to control 'fires' using blankets and buckets.
