Chandrasekaran's decision to exit was final, it's time to move on: Noel Tata

Noel Tata told the Tata Sons board that Chairman N Chandrasekaran's decision not to seek another term had been accepted by Tata Trusts and had "attained finality". "The chairman has conveyed his decision... shareholders have conveyed their acceptance: it is now time to move on," Noel said. The board, however, later approved Chandrasekaran's reappointment for another five years.
