Bharat Forge signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Andhra Pradesh government to establish India's first private-sector marine gas turbine repair, overhaul, and indigenous development complex at Visakhapatnam. This step is crucial in cutting defence equipment imports, as many of the navy's warships rely on Ukrainian gas turbines. The MoU was signed in presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
