4 killed, over 200 injured after 7.8-magnitude earthquake hits Philippines

At least four people were killed and over 200 were injured after a massive 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Philippines on Monday. The quake was caused by movement in the Cotabato Trench at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.2 miles), according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. Tsunami waves up to three feet hit some Philippine coasts following the earthquake.
