Delhi saw 2,300 accidents which led to 505 deaths in the first five months of 2022, official data showed. Of these, 495 were fatal accidents and 1,762 were simple accidents. Outer north district, at 56, recorded the highest district-wise deaths, followed by northwest (50) and southwest (46) districts. Shahdara (16) reported least number of deaths, followed by central district (19).
