CRPF records 1st year without operational fatalities in 47 years

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has completed 12 consecutive months without losing any personnel in operational action for the first time in 47 years. The milestone comes amid a sharp decline in Maoist violence across the country. CRPF chief GP Singh called the fatality-free year, the first since the period ending January 1979, a significant milestone.
