Nandani Bosmia, who contested the Jetpur-Navagadh municipal elections on an AAP ticket, was found dead in her flat in Rajkot. Her family accused her married live-in partner, Aslam Hussain Sama, of murdering her. Aslam continued his ties with his wife, and this caused frequent fights between the live-in couple, her family alleged. He allegedly physically assaulted Nandani, too.
