According to the Economic Survey 2026, the service sector accounted for 49.9% of the total nominal GDP in FY25. Under this, financial, real estate, and professional services contributed 20.8% in 2025 and are expected to reach 21.4% in 2026. The government's prediction or First Advance Estimates (FAE) for the service sector's contribution in FY26 stands at 51.1%.
