India-Afg 1st T20I to go ahead as scheduled despite Delhi Police's initial request

The first T20I match between India and Afghanistan at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium will go ahead as per the schedule, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) said on Thursday. Earlier, the Delhi Traffic Police had requested the DDCA to reschedule the game due to BRICS Summit 2026. DDCA added Delhi Traffic Police has assured it of all necessary support.
