How did India become KitKat's biggest market globally in just a decade?

India, which ranked 10th globally for KitKat a decade ago, has become Nestlé's biggest market for the chocolate. According to Nestlé, the performance was driven by "strong increase in core penetration and also entry into new consumer demand spaces". Premium launches, increased advertising spending and visicooler programme, which provides glass-door refrigerators to retailers, also aided growth.
